  1. Introduction

    Welcome to BuildNest.ca. By using our website or services, you are entering into a legally binding agreement with BuildNest. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the BuildNest website and the services we provide. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our site or services.

    These terms apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are customers, browsers, vendors, merchants, and/or contributors of content.

  2. Services Provided

    BuildNest offers general contracting and related services including, but not limited to:

    a. Handyman repairs
    b. Furniture assembly
    c. Landscaping and lawn care
    d. Moving services
    e. Property maintenance
    f. Rental/Airbnb setup and staging
    g. Pressure washing and debris removal

    All services are offered subject to availability, geographic reach, and current pricing. BuildNest reserves the right to decline service requests that fall outside our capabilities, insurance, or scope.

  3. Booking & Quotes

    Clients may request a quote through the website, phone, or email. A quote does not guarantee acceptance of a job unless confirmed by BuildNest in writing. Prices are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

    Certain jobs may require a site visit or visual inspection before a quote is finalized. We may adjust quotes after a walkthrough if the scope of work changes.

  4. Payments & Deposits

    a. Deposits: For larger projects or high-demand times, we may require a deposit prior to scheduling.
    b. Payment Methods: We accept e-transfers, cash, or pre-approved digital payments.
    c. Final Payments: Payment in full is required immediately upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
    d. Late Payments: Late payments may result in additional fees or interest at 2% per month (24% annually). We reserve the right to suspend or cancel future services in the event of non-payment.

  5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

    a. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may result in a cancellation fee of up to $75.
    b. Rescheduling is allowed at no charge if done at least 24 hours in advance.
    c. In case of emergencies, weather conditions, or events beyond our control, we may reschedule or delay services.

  6. Workmanship Guarantee

    We take pride in our work. If you're not satisfied with the outcome of a service, please notify us within 7 days and we will review the issue.

    Our guarantee covers:
    a. Errors in workmanship
    b. Reasonable use and wear within 7 days

    Our guarantee does not cover:
    a. Client-supplied materials
    b. Damage caused by external events, misuse, or neglect
    c. Items not included in the original scope

  7. Liability Limitations

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuildNest is not liable for:

    a. Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
    b. Loss of use, data, profits, or business opportunity
    c. Work performed by third parties subcontracted with the client’s approval
    d. Any work outside the confirmed scope or without written agreement

    Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service rendered.

  8. Customer Responsibilities

    Clients are responsible for:
    a. Providing accurate details about the job
    b. Ensuring access to the property on the scheduled date
    c. Removing pets, valuables, and fragile items before work begins
    d. Complying with local bylaws, condo rules, and permitting (when required)

  9. Intellectual Property

    All materials on BuildNest.ca—including but not limited to text, photos, graphics, and branding—are owned or licensed by BuildNest. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or redistribution of any content is strictly prohibited.

  10. Third-Party Tools and Links

    BuildNest.ca may contain links to third-party websites or tools. We are not responsible for the content or policies of those sites. You acknowledge that access and use of any third-party services is at your own risk.

  11. Privacy Policy

    We value your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, store, and use your personal data. By using this website, you consent to our privacy practices.

  12. Modifications
