What services does BuildNest offer?
BuildNest is a full-service handyman company serving Niagara Region. Our most-requested services are interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, furniture assembly (including IKEA and all major brands), TV mounting, door and hardware installation, shelf, mirror and picture hanging, lawn care and yard cleanup, junk removal, and moving help. If it’s a home repair or improvement project, chances are we handle it — just ask.
Are you insured?
Yes. BuildNest is fully insured and carries WSIB clearance. Every job is covered, and we treat your home like our own.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes — every job comes with our no-damage guarantee. If we damage something while working in your home, we make it right. We’re also 5-star reviewed across Google, with dozens of happy Niagara customers.
Pricing
How much do you charge?
Furniture assembly starts at $60 and TV mounting starts at $80. Most jobs are quoted flat-rate so there are no surprises — you approve the price before we start. Every estimate is free.

No. Estimates are always free, with no obligation.

How do I book a job?
Call or text (905) 519-1011, or request a booking through our website at buildnest.ca. Tell us what you need and we’ll find a time that works.
What are your hours?
Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Closed Sundays.
Do you offer same-day service?
Often, yes. We keep same-day and same-week availability wherever possible — call or text (905) 519-1011 and we’ll tell you the earliest slot.
Which areas do you serve?
We serve St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Welland, Thorold, Fort Erie, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Grimsby, Port Colborne, and Beamsville — all across the Niagara Region.
The Work Itself
Do I need to buy materials before you arrive?
Usually not. For most jobs we bring everything needed. For specialty items (a specific lock, paint colour, or fixture you’ve chosen), we’ll tell you exactly what to have on hand when you book.
How long does a typical job take?
Most handyman jobs take 1–3 hours. Furniture assembly runs 1–2 hours per piece, TV mounting about an hour, and painting or drywall repair depends on the size of the area. We’ll give you a time estimate with your free quote.
Do you do commercial work?
Yes. Alongside residential work in homes and apartments, we’ve done clinics, restaurants, and other commercial spaces across Niagara.
What if I’m not happy with the work?
Tell us right away. Our no-damage guarantee and 5-star reputation exist because we stand behind every job — if something isn’t right, we come back and fix it.
